This book focuses on sacred heritage, whether it is still in existence and practiced, or has long been abandoned by society, generally in the archipelago. Sacred specifically means holy, has special powers, even magical and extraordinary, often associated with things that are holy, transcendent, mysterious, perfect and have a transformative effect on the lives and destinies of the people who practice and embrace it. Although the world has now become increasingly advanced and upholds the value of science and technology in the life and development of the country, in fact, the society that is the basis of progress is the human being who has lived and experienced sacred experiences that were carried out and believed in by previous generations. Sacred is an experience that is experienced and learned indirectly by all groups of society and it is appropriate to make it a legacy and reference for future generations about the concept of “sacred” that has been a pillar of the culture and customs of a society. This sacred concept concerns things that must be accepted without objection and acknowledged as really happening without proof and only based on the stories and beliefs of elders who have experienced, heard back to or associated the practice with terrible events that happened decades or even thousands of years before.
